Description

Would you like to be part of developing the secure remote access management platform that enable companies to connect, monitor, and optimize industrial machines from anywhere around the globe?
We are looking for a highly experienced C developer to become an important part of our Remote Access development team. You will be playing an increasingly important role in designing, developing, and implementing the core functionality of our platform for the manufacturing industry.
Secomea is undergoing a period of expansion, and we have dedicated ourselves to help businesses leverage the power of Industrial IoT. We are on a mission to continue to elevate industry standards with a solution that exceeds international security requirements, focusing on scalability and ease of use. Secomea is headquartered in Copenhagen in our newly established offices in Nordhavn, Denmark with offices in China, Japan, and North America and we have a global network of distributors.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Extensive experience as a developer with great experience in C on a senior level and good understanding of C++
  • Linux and preferably Windows and embedded systems as well.
  • Cryptography, X.509 certificates, CA, PKI, RSA, MbedTLS, TLS and OpenSSL.
  • Networking in general with deep understanding of IP, TCP, UDP and HTTP both in terms of programming towards a network stack but also to debug failing connectivity between components or while doing 3rd level support.
  • Understanding containerization in general and within embedded systems to provide the most optimal solutions for the given requirements.
  • Experience in defining, developing, and optimizing build pipelines using our already implemented Gitlab and Jenkins systems. A stable build and release process.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption, while taking a holistic approach on security in general.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, both when you are working by yourself or doing peer-programming or troubleshooting with team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Fluency in English is a must.
Secomea needs team players that thrive in a rapid growing environment. More specifically we are looking for strong and passionate developers with an eye for details and focus on quality. We work in teams, so we hire for teams. We expect each team to be able to drive the architecture of their solution within defined guard rails. Each team maintains its build and deployment pipeline, continuously improves its ways of working, and collaborates with other teams to improve the organization.
At Secomea, we develop everything from hardware, firmware, and low-level code to HTTP-based APIs and react front-ends. We do not expect employees to have experience in all of our technologies and we may consider the right candidate with no experience in some of them but a solid record of accomplishment.
Responsibilities

As an experienced developer in this team, you will maintain and develop secure, high performance, high availability, network-oriented applications on both Linux and Windows and eventually on our own embedded hardware platform as well. The responsibilities surround our core and tunneling technologies and a good understanding of and attention to cybersecurity aspects of networking systems and protocols are preferred. Together with your team members, you are responsible for the full development process within the team from getting the requirements right to conducting 3rd level support after new releases have been made.
