Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system/product/service for simple and complex problems when appropriate. Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Javascript, Typescript, CSS and HTML OR equivalent experience. 3+ years experience of writing web applications code for browsers, knowledge of browser rendering pipelines, and performance optimization techniques. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Demonstrated expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, including advanced patterns (e.g., modular architecture, async programming, performance tuning). Experience building complex, high-performance web applications or SDKs that integrate with large-scale platforms. Demonstrated understanding of browser internals (DOM, CSSOM, rendering pipeline, event loop) and ability to optimize for speed and memory. Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and state management patterns. Knowledge of web standards and APIs, including security, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility best practices. Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse) to diagnose and resolve bottlenecks. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for frontend (e.g., Jest, Playwright).
