About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer In this role, you will: Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments Contribute to large scale planning of strategies Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in implementation of Identity and Access Management solution (from multiple vendors like SailPoint, IBM-ISIM, Oracle IAM ) 4+ years of experience using Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL. Should have experience in SCIM and REST APIs. Ability to design and integrate new IAM solutions with existing infrastructure. Has good leadership skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision-making skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology /Engineering. Knowledge of information security concepts. Deep working knowledge of at least one IAM tool. Job Expectations: Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork, contributing effectively within cross‑functional and technical teams. Propose innovative and practical technical solutions while working in a collaborative team environment. Communicate effectively with non‑technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into business‑friendly language. Maintain hands-on expertise in operating systems and relational database management systems, including Linux, WebLogic, Tomcat, Oracle, SQL Server, and related platforms. Manage issues, incidents, and change processes using tracking tools such as Jira and ServiceNow, ensuring adherence to defined SLAs. Work within Agile methodologies, following iterative delivery practices. Exhibit a strong passion for hands-on technical involvement, remaining deeply engaged in engineering and operational processes. Demonstrate high emotional intelligence, balancing leadership with active listening to guide teams effectively. Leverage domain understanding of the Banking industry to ensure solutions align with regulatory, security, and business requirements.
