As a Software Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for: * Designing and implementing frontend applications and supporting API services for cloud management solutions * Integrating applications with platform services and downstream systems across Akamai's cloud ecosystem * Troubleshooting complex technical challenges and driving improvements to application quality, maintainability, and performance Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: * Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent * Demonstrate strong professional experience developing backend services using Python * Possess experience building modern web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React * Have good knowledge of Internet protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL * Have willingness to learn new frameworks and programming languages * Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders About us At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.
