Your mission Application Development Service and component development Develop and deploy application services and software components to support scalable and reliable platform operations. CI/CD pipeline management Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines within GitLab to support efficient and automated software delivery processes. Testing and quality assurance Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality, stability, and reliability. Operations & Maintenance Application operations Ensure application services remain operational, stable, and available in production environments. Production maintenance Maintain production applications and ensure systems are kept up to date with the latest security patches and updates. Monitoring and alerting Implement and manage monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and address operational issues. Problem solving and troubleshooting Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Incident and change management Support change management and incident management processes to ensure operational continuity and controlled deployments. On-call support Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems and respond to operational incidents when required. Documentation Development documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date development and operational documentation to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing across teams. Your skills Professional Experience Software development experience Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of software development. Must Have Programming expertise At least 5 years of programming experience in C and ideally Go. Networking knowledge Solid understanding of networking concepts such as IP routing, as well as experience in network programming technologies including VPP, DPDK, and eBPF/XDP. Shift work flexibility Willingness to participate in Level 3 support and 24/7 on-call shifts, with additional compensation provided. Agile working methods Experience working in agile development environments and methodologies. Git proficiency Fluent Git user. Linux expertise Confident and practical knowledge of Linux systems and environments. Secondary Skills (Nice to Have) Container technologies Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Cloud platforms Knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS. Telecommunications knowledge Understanding of mobile core network structures and telecommunications standards.
