Our Employee Value Proposition Role Description Amtech is seeking a Controller who will oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting operations and financial controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the finance organization. As Controller, you will lead accounting strategy, optimize financial processes, implement scalable systems, and partner closely with cross-functional leaders to support sustainable business growth. This role requires a strategic finance leader with deep technical expertise, strong operational discipline, and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams while upholding rigorous financial standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain front-end components using React. Build and optimize back-end services using Node.js. Assist in normalizing and migrating legacy data to PostgreSQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies. Support legacy system analysis and contribute to migration strategy. Work closely with Solution Architects to define transformation strategies and technical standards. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 6+ years of experience in full-stack development. Proficiency in React, .Net, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and API design. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and DevOps practices. Proven ability to work in agile teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
