Description

Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the Dearborn office. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI. Lead the development of eCommerce microservices platform using a combination of open-source frameworks (Java) and Cloud native technology stack. Design, develop, and implement scalable microservices architecture that will support the company's business requirements. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop a scalable microservices platform. Design, develop, and implement high-quality, reusable, and testable code that adheres to industry best practices and standards. Build reusable frameworks and work closely with DevOps and other teams to ensure the platform is highly available, scalable, and fault tolerant. Handle operations issues with little or no oversight. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards, patterns, and architecture principles. Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides for the platform. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 5 years of experience with the following skill is required: 1. Object-Oriented Development in building microservices architecture on JVM platform concepts. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Spring Platform (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, and Spring Cloud). 2. Automated Testing, CI/CD using Jenkins CI. 2 years of experience with the following skill is required: 1. Test-driven development (TDD), Extreme Programming (XP), self-documenting code, continuous refactoring, and writing Unit, Integration, and Acceptance test cases. 1 year of experience with the following skill is required: 1. Working with at least one of the following cloud technologies: Azure, PCF, AWS, or GCP. We are offering a salary of $138,486.00 - $185,946.96/yr.
