Description

Your responsibilities

  • Development: You will develop and extend our modern backend services in Node.js/TypeScript or a technology more suitable for the use case.
  • API-first: You develop high-performance interfaces (REST, GraphQL) and reliably connect external services and systems.
  • Event-Driven Architecture: You will be involved in the ongoing optimization and further development of our modern Event-Driven (Event Sourcing, CQRS) microservice architecture.
  • Collaboration:  You work in an interdisciplinary team and coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to implement new features and optimizations quickly and effectively.
  • Code quality: You participate in code reviews, contribute your valuable experience, and ensure clean, maintainable code.
  • Innovation & Learning: You try out new frameworks and tools, keep up to date with technologies, and share your knowledge with the team.

A real challenge? Absolutely – and that's exactly what makes us strong!

Your skills

  • Passion:  Code is your language – you don't just develop it, you live it. Software development is more than a job for you, it's your calling.
  • Motivation:  You approach challenges with energy and enthusiasm, are inquisitive, and are easily inspired by new technologies. Your driving force is to truly make a difference.
  • Team spirit: You are a true team player – you share your knowledge, let yourself be inspired and work together with the team to achieve the best result.
  • Keep UX in mind:  Even in the backend, you think about the user and develop services that run stably and performantly and integrate seamlessly into the existing software architecture.
  • Structure & Quality: You work in a solution-oriented manner, maintain an overview even with complex requirements, and place great value on clean, sustainable code.
  • Can-do mindset: You tackle things head-on, aren't afraid of complex processes, and want to help shape things instead of just processing tickets.

Your qualifications

(If 3 of the requirements match your profile, you should definitely apply to us!)

  • Experience: You have professional experience in backend development, ideally with Node.js/TypeScript, Go or Python.
  • Architectural know-how: You are familiar with event sourcing, CQRS and event-driven architectures, or you want to learn about them.
  • Eventbus & Messaging: You have experience with Event-Driven Design, NATS or similar message brokers.
  • Databases: You are familiar with SQL as well as NoSQL or similar technologies and take responsibility for persistent data storage.
  • DevOps mindset: GitLab, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and ArgoCD or similar tools are not foreign concepts to you.
  • Observability: You are proficient in the practical aspects of monitoring, logging, and tracing applications in distributed software architectures (e.g., using Grafana, Loki, or Tempo).
  • AI & Automation:  You are interested in AI tools and their integration, use modern development assistants productively, and recognize machine learning as an opportunity to improve workflows and user experience.
