• You will develop, implement and maintain high-performance backend services based on Java, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• You will support the further development of our system landscape and processes, through which millions of printed and digital tickets are provided annually.
• You integrate internal and external systems securely and reliably using event-driven architectures and API-first approaches.
• Together with your team, you will develop best practices for the responsible use of AI and design AI-ready architectures.
• You ensure consistent observability, performance, and security of our applications – including through Grafana Cloud.
• You live by the principle "You build it, you run it" and, together with your team, take responsibility for the entire life cycle of your applications.

You bring the following:

• A modern, AI-supported development setup and the ability to effectively integrate current AI tools into your daily development work.
• A strong product builder mindset and the ability to work constructively with development teams, product managers, stakeholders and customers.
• Excellent knowledge of several programming languages ​​and technologies – in our case, especially Java and TypeScript.
• Extensive practical experience with productive software solutions based on technologies such as Spring Boot and Angular, as well as experience in test automation.
• Experience in the design of scalable, event-driven and API-first architectures based on relational databases, as well as a good understanding of eventual consistency.
• Willingness and interest to operate and further develop modern cloud environments as well as Kubernetes-based on-premises infrastructures – we rely on AWS for this.
• Enjoy sharing knowledge, continuously learning, and making your team a little better every day.
• Excellent communication skills in English or German – both spoken and written.
