Job Description

Construction impacts the lives of nearly everyone in the world, and yet it’s also one of the world’s least digitized industries, not to mention one of the most dangerous.
That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Backend to join Procore’s journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry. In this role, you’ll join our highly collaborative Product and Engineering organization to drive the technical direction of our projects; specifically the Custom Field team, which allows our customers to define their project related data. This position reports to the engineering manager and will be based in our Austin Office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
Fieldsets and Custom Fields are pivotal features in standardizing flexible data collection for Procore. Fieldsets allow clients to designate fields as required, optional, or hidden, while Custom Fields provide essential new data based on desired information types. Since 2019, these flexibility solutions have been added into 20+ tools, and are a crucial step for successful Procore client onboarding and implementation. The team is currently working on a re-architecture plan that will focus on enterprise customers and bring unified and consistent experiences to the broader Procore ecosystem.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and UX to design and build solutions that delight users and solve critical business problems
