BLAW Contracts Solutions is a group of 3 teams (Contracts Workflow, Contracts Drafting, Contracts Intelligence) that are closely working together to build one of the largest standalone products in BLAW aimed at corporate attorneys. The product is called Contracts Solutions, and it provides corporate legal departments the ability to securely store, organize, search, analyze and draft their contracts. This is an exciting area of growth for BLAW, building tools that closely integrate into our clients day-to-day operations.
The product has adopted a cloud first strategy (AWS) and uses cutting edge open-source technologies and machine learning approaches to increase efficiency and reduce risk while drafting and managing contracts. We use a number of AWS technologies as well as managed services built around open-source technologies.
For the Contracts Drafting team, we’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team developing an innovative Microsoft Word Add-In for legal document drafting. Our focus is on integrating AI/LLM tools to revolutionize the legal drafting process. Microsoft Word Add-Ins run in a web view inside Word and are conceptually essentially a React web application.
