Together with our CTO and our Lead Developer, you will further develop Bling School, from initial ideas and technical concepts to the go-live of new features.
You design and optimize the technical infrastructure (including Node.js/TypeScript services, databases, AWS environment) that makes cashless payments reliable, secure and scalable.
You actively participate in architectural decisions and contribute ideas on how Bling School should develop technically, instead of just processing tickets.
You are in direct contact with our customers, gather feedback from everyday school and daycare life, and use it to implement solutions that make a real difference.
You take ownership of the topics you help shape – including code quality, testing, and a clean, maintainable setup.
Your profile
You have already gained practical experience as a full stack web developer and have independently built software from idea to release, whether in a job or in your own app or software project.
You have knowledge of modern web technologies (e.g. TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React or similar) and are willing to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
Prior experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure is a plus, but not required. We value your willingness to learn and develop, rather than your prior expertise.
You are eager to take on responsibility, think proactively instead of just implementing instructions, and prefer to actively contribute your own ideas rather than waiting for instructions.
You love building things, pride yourself on clean engineering, and bring this same mindset even when requirements are unclear or changing.
