Are you an experienced software engineer who enjoys combining hands-on development with technical leadership? Do you like solving complex engineering challenges, helping other developers grow and taking ownership of the technical direction of a scalable software platform?

For one of our clients, Bold Company is looking for a Team Lead / Senior Software Engineer. You will combine hands-on software development with technical leadership and play an important role in the further development of a large-scale, data-driven SaaS platform.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As Team Lead / Senior Software Engineer, you remain actively involved in development while also helping the engineering team make the right technical decisions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing and improving scalable software solutions
• Taking technical ownership of the platform
• Contributing hands-on to the codebase
• Making architectural and technical decisions together with the engineering team
• Supporting developers with complex technical challenges
• Performing code reviews and improving engineering standards
• Improving platform performance, scalability and reliability
• Translating product and business requirements into technical solutions
• Coaching developers and sharing technical knowledge
• Improving development processes, tooling and software quality
• Working closely with product owners and other technical stakeholders

WHO ARE YOU?

You are an experienced developer who still enjoys writing code, but also likes helping a team move forward technically.

You are comfortable challenging technical decisions, discussing architecture and supporting other developers when needed.

We are looking for someone with:

• Several years of professional software development experience
• Experience as a Senior Developer, Lead Developer, Tech Lead or similar
• Strong back-end development experience
• Experience with PHP and modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Experience building scalable SaaS or software platforms
• Experience with APIs, integrations and databases
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and automated testing
• Experience with performance and scalability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience coaching or supporting other developers
• Good English communication skills

Experience with high-volume data processing, MarTech or complex SaaS platforms is considered a plus.
