Description
Build the infrastructure behind one of Europe's fastest-growing health tech companies. Noteless builds AI-driven solutions for healthcare that reduce administrative burden and help clinicians deliver better care, giving clinicians back hours every day. We've grown to thousands of clinicians across Scandinavia in under two years, and we're now expanding across Europe. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own the business systems that make this growth possible. The role You'll be responsible for the business-critical infrastructure that supports every customer and internal team: authentication, payments, subscriptions, back office tooling, and integrations with the business systems we rely on. This is not glue code - it's the foundation that lets us onboard a rapidly growing number of new clinicians every month without breaking. Concretely, you'll: Work on our auth systems for individual users, teams and organizations Own and evolve our payment and subscription systems as we expand into new European markets Maintain and improve our back office tools so CS, finance, and marketing can work effectively Own integrations with CRM, analytics, and other internal business systems Strengthen our self-serve flows - the primary way clinicians sign up, manage their accounts, and get support Improve reliability, observability, and performance across our backend infrastructure Partner directly with commercial, finance, product, and clinical teams to solve real problems fast This is a high-autonomy role. You'll have real ownership and the backing to make decisions. What makes this interesting Real scale, real stakes: Our platform handles sensitive clinical data across hundreds of healthcare organizations. Reliability and security aren't nice-to-haves. European expansion: You'll solve the critical and genuinely hard problems of taking a SaaS product multi-market - auth, payments, compliance, localization. Short feedback loops: Clinicians use our product daily, so you'll see the impact of what you ship fast. You might be a good fit if you Have 4+ years of backend/full-stack experience, with depth in at least one of: payments/billing systems or auth infrastructure Are comfortable working in Python and TypeScript, and have opinions about system design Have shipped and maintained production systems that handle real money or sensitive data Take ownership naturally - you'd rather ask forgiveness than wait for permission Can navigate ambiguity and make pragmatic tradeoffs as requirements evolve Experience in SaaS, health tech, or regulated industries is a plus, but not required. What we offer Competitive salary and stock options Meaningful ownership in a company at an inflection point A team that blends clinical, AI, product, design, and engineering expertise Modern offices at Forskningsparken in Oslo A culture that values clarity, craft, and getting things done About Noteless Noteless is redefining how clinical documentation works. Our AI-driven platform captures patient conversations and structures them into clinical documentation - reducing the administrative burden that burns out clinicians and takes time away from patients. We're a team of engineers, designers, clinicians, and product builders who care about shipping work that matters. Interested?
