We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer (C#) to join our Product & Tech team on a full-time, permanent basis. If you're a self-starter with a keen interest in software development and enjoy collaborating in a team setting, we want to hear from you. About the role This is a pivotal role within the Product & Tech team, driving the evolution of our B2C platform. You’ll be working across the stack to deliver seamless, performant, and scalable user experiences that simplify healthcare and improve lives. Our platform serves thousands of users, and your work will directly impact their experience. At HealthHero, developers own the entire software development lifecycle — from refining business requirements to design, development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous support. This end-to-end ownership empowers our engineers to contribute meaningfully to the business and fosters a collaborative, silo-free environment. We encourage participation in cross-tribe guilds (e.g. architecture, data) and knowledge-sharing sessions. You’ll also mentor team members and grow both your technical and leadership skills. Day to day, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Deliver efficient, stable and scalable software systems Work closely with Technical Leads and Product Owners to deliver business value Design, develop and maintain complex applications and services using C# and the .NET ecosystem Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure high code quality Champion HealthHero values and contribute to the continued success of the organisation What you will bring: Solid understanding of core C# language features, including OOP, collections, exception handling, and asynchronous programming - we are using .NET 8 & 9 Cloud – We use Azure, but if you have experience in another major cloud we are happy to help you transfer your knowledge Experience designing REST APIs and event-driven applications Experience in developing front end applications with React Exposure to and knowledge of automated testing strategies Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to collaborate well with others, such as with pair-programming Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal Essential Skills: A self-driven individual who cares about the mission of the company Solid understanding of concepts and principles of software development and product design Experience in Agile software development processes Developed communication skills, ability to report progress and raise issues early About HealthHero HealthHero is a digital-first, end-to-end healthcare provider.
