As R&D Engineer (m/f/d) you will be part of an agile Scrum Team, developing software for the 93K IC Test platform

• This team is responsible for defining, designing, implementing, and testing new customer-facing features in C++
• This includes working with customers to understand their use cases, propose and implement new solutions to leading edge technology problems
• You will work with state-of-the-art tools and development environments to deliver new functionality with a strong focus on quality
• Working independently within an agile team and embracing agile principles is the kind of environment that suits you
• You will develop C++ algorithms using a modern toolchain on high-performance Linux workstations
• Creating innovative C++ solutions that bring measurable value to customers in a highly demanding and technology-driven domain

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive experience as a C++ Software Developer
• Structured approach to problem analysis and problem solving
• Strong analytical thinking and data evaluation skills, combined with effective problem-solving strategies
• Motivation to work in an agile environment
• Good knowledge of Linux / Unix systems
• Advanced/strong programming skills in C++17 or newer
• In-depth understanding of software design principles and methodologies
• Profound knowledge of object-oriented software development practices and tools
• Strong commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with the Scrum software development process
• Experience working on large-scale software systems
• Familiarity with the Git version control system
• Good understanding of integrated circuits (ICs) and electronic measurement technology
• Good German language skills
• Ideally you already have experience in software development with multiple teams. We also expect practical knowledge in object oriented analysis and design, including UML modeling and design patterns.
