REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive professional experience as a C++ developer
- Proficiency in software development using the Qt framework
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture
- Sound knowledge of databases, SQL, and unit testing
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Independent, methodical, and structured work approach
- Team player with proficiency in German and English
- Completed specialized education (university, university of applied sciences) in computer science, telematics, biomedical engineering, or related technical fields
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Jenkins
- Experience in continuous integration and automated testing
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
Responsibilities:
- Develop software for medical devices in C++ utilizing the Qt framework
- Contribute to software architecture design and updates
- Perform functional and unit tests for newly implemented features
- Work closely with the verification team for software integration
- Collaborate with various teams to grasp requirements and ensure smooth integrations
- Ensure adherence to development standards and guidelines based on ISO 62304 (software lifecycle process)
- Create technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
- Mentor other team members
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and adhere to best practices
