We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amersfoort/Sassenheim, The Netherlands. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in developing Carrier’s Temperature Monitoring platform, a trusted solution used by global logistics companies, pharmaceutical corporations, and NGOs in over 170 countries.
In this Agile-driven, dynamic environment, you’ll be instrumental in enhancing our SmartView/API application and its architecture. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure high-quality software development while contributing to architectural improvements, technical risks management, and performance optimization.

  • As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing the SmartView/API application architecture.
  • Programming extensively while ensuring system performance and scalability.
  • Collaborating with the team to identify and address architectural improvements and technical risks.
  • Managing and optimizing automated build pipelines using Jenkins (CI tool).
  • Contributing to Agile-driven development processes and methodologies.
  • Automating functional tests and improving software development processes.
