About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team, specialising in modern JavaScript technologies and frameworks. The ideal candidate will weave different UI generations together adding DB and auth as you go.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable applications using React, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Review code, provide meaningful feedback, and maintain high code quality standards
• Collaborate with pm and designers to define technical specifications
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the full stack

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and their ecosystems
• Strong experience with React and React Native, including state management solutions
• Proven track record building and maintaining Node.js backend services
• Experience with:
• Modern JavaScript features (ES6+)
• REST APIs and GraphQL
• Test-driven development and testing frameworks
• Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Performance optimization and debugging
• Cross-browser compatibility and responsive design

Technical Expertise

• Frontend: React, React Native, NativeScript, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Backend: Node.js, Express.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL
• Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress
• Tools: Git, Webpack, npm/yarn, ESLint, dino
• Infrastructure: AWS/GCP, Docker, CI/CD

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Understanding of security best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $101,589.42 – $180,155.27 per year
