We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python programming Microsoft Azure cloud services and Filenet Image services . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing scalable applications cloud-native architectures and automation solutions. Location: Florida Work Model: 5 Days a week in office Experience: 10+ Years Please note- this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $120,000/Year to $140,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Key Responsibilities: · Design develop and maintain robust Python applications and services. · Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions App Services Azure DevOps Azure Data Factory etc.). · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features. · Optimize applications for performance scalability and security. · Lead code reviews provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers. · Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes using Azure DevOps. · Monitor and troubleshoot production systems ensuring high availability and reliability. · Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions. Qualifications: · Require 10+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Python. · Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. · Expertise in RESTful API development microservices architecture and asynchronous programming. · Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure networking and security best practices. · Experience with containerization Docker Kubernetes and serverless computing. · Proficiency in version control systems Git and Agile development methodologies. · Understanding of FileNet infrastructure and application to integrate with Azure cloud service · Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-204 AZ-400) are a plus. · Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. · Exposure to containerization and microservices architecture.
