Key Responsibilties: Partner with business product owners to drive Product & Proposition targets or Customer Service deliverables. Lead the technical delivery of assigned tasks or projects. Build relationships with Delivery Leads, other Engineering team members, and business users across the organization. Engage and articulate the technical solution effectively across teams. Contribute to the overall Policy Admin System architecture and design by providing best practice guidance and patterns. Maintain knowledge and understanding of the relevant industry verticals critical for implementation. Stay fully aware of the latest updates and developments in the Insurance/Financial industries to support or suggest appropriate solutions for user needs. Be task-driven and able to control and commit to agreed timelines. Requirement: Deep understanding of Life Policy Administration features and functionalities. 5–7 years of experience in the Insurance/Financial industry, with a minimum of 5 years supporting Core Policy Admin systems, especially Life Asia/Life400. Knowledge of surrounding applications such as underwriting engines, front-end/mobile applications, and workflow systems. Strong experience in omnichannel integration. Solid understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies. Knowledge of integrating Core Applications with surrounding systems such as Sales Portals, Workflow, and Underwriting Engines. Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset with strong communication skills. Excellent conceptual and analytical skills with high motivation to define process automation. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment. Experience with application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is an advantage. Strong understanding of Agile/Iterative delivery methodologies. Purpose of the Role: 1. Responsible for developing and delivering engineering deliverables for Product Sales, Customer Acquisition, and Servicing solutions, including: Core Applications (Life Asia) CCM Solutions Underwriting Engines Workflow Middleware Integration with Front-End/Mobile applications 2. Work closely with Business Product Owners, Tech Delivery Leads, and other technical team members to define the technical design for: Product launches Post-launch product feature builds Enhancements Other new project initiatives 3. Responsible for providing technical solutions to meet business demands and guiding junior IT team members. Role Attributes: Provide oversight of Core Application deliverables for: Product launches Post-launch features Customer acquisition Servicing Middleware integration Serve as one of the Subject Matter Experts (SME) for Core Application–related initiatives.
