In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help develop our next generation data platform and help to improve our current Analytics platform. We are running on hybrid cloud, leveraging modern BI tooling, and building cutting-edge “infrastructure as a service” offerings to expand our platform and skillsets Your Responsibilities: You will work as part of a time zone-distributed agile team, operating in a Continuous Delivery model Writing testable .NET code along with unit, integration and functional tests Developing and deploying high volume, high transaction based, distributed and redundant cloud applications · The ability to understand, explain and implement modern distributed architecture for scalable and fast applications The Essentials - You Will Have: A Bachelors in Computer Science or related area or equivalent industry experience 6+ years of professional development experience The Preferred - You Might Also Have: · Experience building microservices and HTTP APIs · Demonstrated understanding of design patterns, principles, and frameworks · Demonstrated understanding of security concepts and best practices · Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of SQL and No-SQL data stores · Experience with container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc) · Experience with messaging platforms (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, etc) · Experience working as part of a time zone-distributed team · Experience in a manufacturing environment · Experience with the Azure cloud · Experience troubleshooting front end UI What We Offer: Our benefits package includes … Comprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to Calm Volunteer Paid Time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employees. Responsibilities
You will work as part of a time zone-distributed agile team, writing testable .NET code and developing high volume, high transaction based cloud applications. Your role will also involve improving the current Analytics platform and implementing modern distributed architecture.
