MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. * 5 years of experience in software engineering, and with building tools focused on infrastructure operations, reliability, and architectural integrity. * 2 years of experience in software design and architecture, within a large-scale cloud infrastructure provider. * Experience in testing, maintaining, and launching software products or infrastructure systems, and in debugging, troubleshooting, and diagnosing intricate issues within distributed systems. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. * Experience with compute technologies and building/operating foundational infrastructure at scale. * Knowledge in building and operating compute infrastructure, specifically within large-scale cloud environments or hybrid/on-premises deployments. * Ability to thrive in fluid, 0 to 1 environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities with a bias for action. * Excellent investigative skills and a track record of delivering incremental solutions to complex, ambiguous system-level problems. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Contribute to the strategic goal for Hybrid and On-prem Infrastructure by assisting in the definition and delivery of critical architecture and roadmap initiatives. * Collaborate with executive engineers, internal managers, and external partners to influence product roadmaps and drive alignment on technical priorities. * Partner effectively with internal organizations and external vendors to facilitate seamless integration and maintain strong professional relationships. * Advocate user needs by translating customer feedback into actionable engineering solutions that address complex infrastructure challenges. * Enhance product and engineering standards to ensure high-performance operations, while working with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of new initiatives.
