We’re looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer with strong C/C++ development skills and experience working close to hardware. This is a hands-on role focused on building and maintaining advanced software applications in a Linux environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience (relevant degrees count toward experience)
• Proficiency in C/C++ and strong debugging skills
• Experience with Linux and command-line tools
• Version control proficiency (Git)
• Familiarity with hardware communication (e.g., cameras, sensors, motion stages)
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Associate degree considered with experience)
• Familiarity with FPGA or GPU programming (CUDA)
• Scripting experience (e.g., Julia or Python)
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Knowledge of high-speed control systems, DSP, or computer vision
• Interest in space, optics, or laser-based technologies a plus
