The Senior Software Engineer at Nuix works closely with Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers, Architects, and the Product team to deliver high-quality Nuix Products that serve both the company and its customers. We are looking for a software engineer with good understanding and experience building web services using modern technologies. We have a cross-functional team working across Java, Typescript, Python and more. The candidate will primarily work with Java and Spring Boot to evolve our Enterprise Collections product. Nuix encourages growth and we’d be eager to see you work across all components of the product.
This position will be based in our Sydney office. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining 2 days of the week.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java & Spring Boot application engineering.
• Experience and/or a desire to learn other languages and tools such as Python, Typescript, React, Jenkins, scripting would be welcomed.
• Experience or level of understanding of modern cloud-based solutions, ideally on AWS stack. Understanding of container applications on Kubernetes would be highly desired.
• Experience in solving complex technical problems and leading technical discussions and designs with the team.
