THE ROLE

As a senior software engineer, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of project and product managers, developers and the management team. Your main responsibility is to develop and enhance our software platforms like WattMaestro that optimizes Energy for businesses and private persons.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Software Development
• Design and develop high-quality web applications using React, ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to manage and manipulate data across multiple databases.
• Architecture & Design
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to design software solutions that align with our IoT platforms and business objectives.
• Contribute to the architectural decisions and best practices to evolve our technical infrastructure.
• Azure & Cloud Services
• Utilize Azure services (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions) to deploy and manage applications in the cloud.
• Monitor and maintain cloud-based environments for reliability, security, and performance.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (hardware engineers, data scientists, and product owners) to deliver integrated IoT solutions.
• Continuous Improvement
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and practices in front-end development, cloud technologies, and IoT solutions.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
