Description Job Summary: The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrading/enhancement of ATM software, hardware, and network systems. This incumbent also manages ATM security updates, product support and maintenance, developing compliant processes and assists in the ATM Lifecycle development process for enablement of new features and product development. Duties/Responsibilities: Creating and maintaining unattended deployment packages Integration of ATM applications with all software and hardware components Providing product maintenance and support to internal teams and external vendors Optimizing ATM uptime and operational efficiency by conducting system updates and building ATM software, packaging and enable readiness for deployment Assisting with vendor management and training Scheduling and conducting ATM security updates Creating processes and guidelines for ATM software to ensure compliance with FCTI’s corporate policies and values, as well as industry best practices Collaborating with internal development teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support products Technical Consultancy on business process improvements and enhancements to ancillary systems to aid business objectives All other projects, tasks, and assignments as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written) Must be able to manage / prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure and be organized (attention to detail) Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work effectively in a team oriented and open environment as well as independently Available to work long hours, weekends, and/or holidays according to business needs Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience required 7+ years of progressive software or systems engineering experience with at least 3 years of experience with ATM multi-vendor software Previous experience working with ATMs or in electronic banking required Experience with Vynamic View and Vynamic Security Suite desirable. Knowledge and experience with programming language and web application technologies (e.g., Java, SQL, HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript) desirable Experience with ATM Communication Protocols (e.g., NDC, DDC) and TCP/IP desirable. A high-level knowledge of ISO8583 transaction processing protocol is desirable. Experience with RKL and EPP integration desirable.
