Job Summary Job Title: SSE (8+ Years Experience) About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Platform Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join our platform engineering team. This role will play a critical part in designing, building, and maintaining the internal platforms and tools that enable software development teams to work efficiently and effectively. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing platform offerings to streamline development processes across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, resilient, and efficient platforms that support the organization's strategic goals and drive innovation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust cloud platforms (AWS must have, Azure, Google Cloud is good to have). Assist in building technical roadmap and advancing technical capabilities of the platform engineering team. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with organizational goals. Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and scalability of the platforms. Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Key Requirements 8+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps domain. Hands-on knowledge in AWS cloud and Azure cloud. Hands-on knowledge in Ansible and GitHub. Hands-on knowledge in IaC tools Terraform, Terragrunt. Hands-on experience with Packer Tool (Image Builder) tool. Hands-on knowledge in designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline with tools like, GitHub Action, Azure DevOps or similar. Hands-on knowledge in configuration management tools like Ansible. Hands-on knowledge of Windows or Linux Administration. Hands-on knowledge of integrating security scan tools like SonarQube, Veracode in CI/CD. Minimum 3+ years of experience in Application development using Python and any scripting language. Hands-on experience in Code Reviews and Design Reviews. Nice to Have AWS Certifications. Azure, GCP Knowledge. Immutable Infrastructure with autoscaling capability. Observability & Monitoring. Experience with GitOps workflows and progressive delivery strategies. Experience with System & IT operation – Windows and Linux OS administration. Understanding of networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies), Microsoft Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
