Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles. Advises immediate management on project-level issues Guides junior engineers Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions As a Front End Engineer, you will: Be able to independently design, code and test complex features, as well as lead and mentor other engineers, help build engineering teams Drive both technology and product innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development Be a technical subject matter expert and represent the full internal and external capabilities of the platform. Lead complex architectural discussions that involve multiple systems Identify any product/functionality gaps and collaborate internal product and technology teams to define the necessary development to support solution delivery. Drive integration efforts and lead critical work streams of strategic initiatives sponsored by senior executives Drive engineering excellence through CI/CD Proactive response in identifying and troubleshooting integration or technical issues. Write tests for the existing and newly created code to maintain compatibility 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years experience in Front-end Development building successful production software systems Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, and other relevant technologies. Experience with web front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, Bootstrap etc Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement user-friendly features and interfaces. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards. Optimize frontend applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to established standards. Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, providing timely resolution and maintaining system integrity. Stay up to date with the latest frontend development trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend best practices to enhance team productivity and product quality. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance, support, and knowledge sharing to foster their professional growth and development.
