Job Requisition Number:

Job Summary:
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the team on our newest product, Quicken LifeHub (QLH). QLH is a secure, web-based platform that allows individuals and families to organize, protect, and share life’s essential information—from IDs and financial accounts to medical records, passwords, estate plans, and beyond. With bank-grade encryption, multi-factor authentication, and up to 30 GB data storage per household, LifeHub provides robust security and features designed for peace of mind.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a hands-on frontend engineer, delivering performant, scalable, and polished web experiences for LifeHub’s users
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to build user interfaces that delight and guide users through critical workflows like document uploads, folder setup, and sharing
  • Leverage React Native, TypeScript, Redux, and modern frontend tooling (Npm, Webpack, Storybook) to build a scalable component library
  • Ensure high quality with unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing, working with QA to validate flow
  • Optimize UI for responsive and accessible access across devices, including mobile web experiences and native-like performance
  • Prioritize security and privacy—adhere to encryption, authentication, and data protection best practices
  • Participate in contribution, review, and refinement of accessible, maintainable UI code and design system guidelines
  • Offer technical leadership, mentoring junior front-end engineers, and driving consistency across interface modules and UX patterns
  • Stay informed on frontend trends—evaluate and adopt tools or frameworks (e.g. GraphQL, Tailwind, Storybook) that enhance productivity and UX

Qualifications:

  • BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend web development (React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript) building consumer-grade SaaS products
  • Deep expertise in React Native, Redux, TypeScript and modern tooling
  • Strong architectural design and UI problem-solving skills
  • Experience building component libraries and design systems
  • Familiarity with integrating front-end with backend APIs (REST or GraphQL)
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives or features end to end
  • Excellent verbal and written communication—able to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Experience working in agile, fast-moving environments
  • Passion for user experience, intuitive interfaces, and thoughtful interactions
  • Bonus if you have experience in personal finance and document management workflows
