Your Responsibilities

• Web Development and Platform Building – You help digitize our customer journey in the energy consulting sector by developing a self-service platform that makes energy consulting more efficient through automation and optimization. Your work directly contributes to customer-centric products which help achieve our goals
• Software Engineering and Quality Assurance – You deliver high quality software that is well tested and conforms to security and performance standards. Additionally, you use our automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments
• Backend Development and AI Integration – You develop and maintain our Ruby-based backend services and contribute to the technical foundation of our platform. You're comfortable occasionally working on our React-powered UI, and you actively explore AI-powered features, from intelligent automation to data-driven recommendations
• Teamwork and Initiative – You work in a cross-functional team of 9 (engineering, data, product design, product management) and actively participate in code reviews as well as product discussions to find the best solutions. You support the product team during customer/product research with your technical expertise 

Your profile

• Experience and Technical Expertise – You have solid experience in setting up web applications in an agile environment and are passionate about the latest approaches, containerization, security enhancements, and the integration of modern front-end frameworks
• Architecture Understanding and Best Practices – You're right at home with software components and interactions, as well as modern web/cloud development and testing methods
• Passion and Willingness to Learn – You are driven by solving meaningful problems, constantly developing your skills, and have a strong bias for action and getting things done.
