Title: Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack/Front End Position: Permanent full time. You must have a current visa and full working rights in Australia. Location: This is a hybrid role based in Sydney with a blend of working from home & on-site with clients. About the role: As a DiUS consultant, you will be partnering with clients to develop and deliver custom software products and digital solutions; getting the most out of their technology landscape, and leaving them in a better place. This hands-on role is more than just systems and coding - it’s also about asking the right questions, understanding the needs, thinking outside the box to creatively develop solutions, driving best practice, developing strong client relationships and collaborating on the bigger picture. Throughout your time with DiUS, you will work on different business projects in a range of digital web, data and mobile capabilities, while increasingly factoring in AI powered engineering practices. This will accelerate your growth as each client will have different technologies, tools & frameworks, as well as different business challenges, solutions, and stakeholders. About You: You will have a dynamic background as a full stack software engineer, proficient in both back end and front end development, with lots of breadth across each. You enjoy variety and have spent time learning different tech stacks in your previous roles, adapting to different environments. Experienced across the entire SDLC, you can effectively design customised solutions, deploy to cloud platforms and work with Infrastructure as Code, with a focus on building secure, scalable, and high-performing systems. Whether your experience is from consulting, or working across multiple projects, you have a natural leadership style that builds trust with the people you work with. You have experience leading projects and small teams end to end, and you are flexible and adaptable, navigating the grey areas comfortably as you step into, and sometimes lead, different projects - you may be designing a new system and platform features this month, and then building agents next month. Main Tech Skills Needed: Full-stack software engineer with 10+ years of experience in various back end and front end tech languages such as: Java, Node, C#/ .net, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, React, Next.js, Angular, Vue Strong experience in React & Next.js is required Experience in C# / .net frameworks will also be highly regarded in this role Experience in leveraging AI tools across the software development lifecycle to automate & streamline processes Purposeful design and implementation of software solutions (yes, from scratch) Commercial experience deploying code into the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) & IaC tools Solid level of proficiency in modern architectural practices Experience in data engineering and/or development of AI solutions will be highly regarded Main Consulting Skills Needed: Able to openly collaborate and listen; understand and refine requirements, & iterate on delivery outcomes Able to problem solve; identify purposeful solutions, factoring in how to integrate into a wider solution/system Able to navigate ambiguity; land on your feet and find the way forward Adaptable to different paces and environments; from the complexity of a large enterprise or influencing in a fast-paced start-up Excellent communication skills Able to efficiently self manage and coordinate / prioritise tasks and workload Curious with a growth mindset, always seeking to learn and investing in own development Passionate about spreading change through thought leadership, mentoring, meetups, writing blogs or staying active on GitHub.
