Get to Know the Role As an important member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications that drive our success. At GTS, we're focused on transforming the technology experience for every Grabber by building seamless, practical, and innovative solutions that improve how people work every day. Within Commercial Systems, that means ensuring high-impact business platforms and experiences that support Grab's commercial teams at scale. This is an onsite role, that will be based in Petaling Jaya, and will report to the Head of Commercial Systems. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform You will architect and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable full-stack solutions using modern technologies and best practices You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software products You will develop and improve both frontend and backend components of our applications You will implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications You will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack You will stay up-to-date with latest technologies and industry trends, recommending solutions to enhance our tech stack You will ensure application performance, security, and scalability through proper design and implementation practices Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions. Proficiency in backend languages, Go, Python, or Java, and expertise in APEX for Salesforce development and customization. AI & Machine Learning Integration: Proficiency in leveraging AI technologies, such ClaudeCode, Cursor and integrating LLMs into business workflows Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and server-side rendering concepts to build seamless user interfaces. Experience with RESTful API design and implementation, especially in the context of integrating Salesforce with external microservices. 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and the deployment of scalable, resilient backend architectures. Experience with real-time data processing tools such as Apache Flink or Kafka to drive live insights and cross-selling triggers. Experience creating concise technical documentation to facilitate cross-team collaboration and system maintainability.
