ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Senior Software Engineer (Guidewire) to join our Insurance Technology team. The objective of the Senior Software Engineer (Guidewire) is to work with Tribe, Platform leaders and the Engineering Practice to design, develop and implement improvements to our capability in Engineering. This role encompasses systems analysis, design, development, maintenance, and ongoing support for Suncorp’s Guidewire software, as well as coaching and mentoring junior Engineers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Coach and mentor engineers to improve engineering capabilities and embed best practices
• Highly proficient in delivery of technical projects using Agile
• Prioritise and drive Automation in delivery
• Embed a DevOps/DevSecOps mindset and practices within the team
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes and standards
• Develop a highly collaborative working relationship with delivery teams and stakeholders
