Job Summary
The Senior Software Engineer assists in streamlining internal and client processes through automation and data visualization. The Senior Software Engineer utilizes Healthfuse systems and software to analyze industry and client-specific data for the purpose of making business process improvements, and contract negotiation recommendations to internal resources and external clients, as well as demonstrating engagement value and vendor performance.

Core Responsibilities
Full stack development – Plan, build, and deploy innovative solutions with existing and emerging technologies. Create and manage applications and libraries and handle integrations between services. Optimize and refactor code with performance in mind.
Testing – Unit/System/Integration testing. Responsible for designing and running tests on software usability.
Documentation – Create reference docs, development standards, workflows, etc.
Code review – Ensure a high quality of code within the team, identify potential issues before they appear and suggest improvements where necessary.
Mentoring – Support other developers as they build new features, fix bugs, and do application and development to become a respected leader on the team.
Support – Provide product support to the Healthfuse teams as needed.
Planning – Work closely with other departments to ascertain requirements from stakeholders.
Looking forward – Share your ideas around how we can improve, create amazing products and drive the business forward.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
Travels when required to fulfill tasks assigned – expectation is 0-10%
7+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years of related experience with Azure
2+ years of experience using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or MS SSRS
Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
Advanced Microsoft Excel skill
