This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer I in India. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that power mission-critical applications. The position requires technical leadership, mentorship of junior engineers, and hands-on development across the full software stack. You will engage in agile processes, participate in code reviews, and stay updated with emerging technologies to ensure solutions remain cutting-edge. Accountabilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in software development. Conduct code reviews to ensure consistency, maintainability, and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features that support contact center applications and related technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions and processes. Participate actively in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Stay current with industry trends and technologies to foster innovation in solutions. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 6+ years in software development. Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.) and SQL (preferably PostgreSQL). Experience with production JVM languages (Scala preferred). Knowledge of development tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. Experience with relational and non-relational databases and commercial CRM systems. Expertise in continuous integration, continuous delivery, TDD, and automated testing frameworks. Experience with real-time systems supporting hundreds of concurrent users. Production Kubernetes experience. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Must be located within 150 km of Greater Delhi NCR, Greater Bangalore, or Greater Pune, and able to work overlapping core US business hours (EST). Workspace requirements: quiet home setup with internet speed of at least 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.
