Primary Responsibilities: Performing design, coding, unit testing and ensuring conformance to the team's development process and standards Review of requirements and/or systems analysis documents for completeness Working with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activities Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and efficiency across the team Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of overall IT experience Worked in an Agile team and good understanding of Scrum Well-versed with Engineering Practices and Agile environment Proficient in Java , SpringBoot, Microservices, Oracle Proven good oral and written communication Skills Proven ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and leverage them to execute on the use cases given to solve business problems At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
