Description
About AllCare.ai AllCare.ai is transforming senior healthcare by delivering fully coordinated, in-facility care built around one shared care plan. We bring together in-facility providers — including primary care, psychiatry, podiatry, diagnostics, wound care, and chronic care — alongside pharmacy services, all supported by a 24/7 medical concierge team to ensure seamless, high-quality care for residents. Role Overview We’re building the next-generation healthcare data platform that powers better outcomes for patients through remote patient monitoring and real-time analytics. As a Senior Software Engineer – Integrations & Platform, you’ll design and build secure, scalable systems that integrate seamlessly across healthcare technologies, devices, and services. In this role, you’ll not only be hands-on in architecting and delivering technical solutions but also serve as a key technical representative in discussions with external partners and vendors during system integrations. You’ll play a vital role in shaping how healthcare data is exchanged, stored, and leveraged across AllCare’s ecosystem — ensuring security, reliability, and performance at every level. While this is primarily a software engineering role, experience with data engineering or analytics platforms is a strong plus. What You’ll Do System Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using modern frameworks and cloud technologies (Azure preferred). Integrations: Build and own integrations with third-party device vendors, middleware partners, and internal systems (REST/GraphQL, webhooks, OAuth2). Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions with external stakeholders, including partner engineering teams, to define integration requirements, resolve challenges, and ensure alignment on deliverables. Database Management: Architect and maintain databases (SQL or NoSQL) with a focus on performance, scalability, and integrity. Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce best practices for authentication, encryption, and access control; ensure HIPAA and healthcare data compliance. Automation & CI/CD: Streamline development and deployment processes through automated pipelines, testing, and monitoring. Collaboration: Partner closely with product, clinical, and AI teams to develop new features, enhance interoperability, and improve platform reliability. Optional (Plus): Contribute to data workflows, analytics, and ETL processes that support real-time decision-making and insights. Qualifications 5–8+ years of professional experience in software development (backend or full-stack). Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js. Proven experience building and maintaining cloud-based systems, ideally on Azure (Functions, App Services, Data Factory, Key Vault). Strong background in API design, system integration, and partner-facing technical collaboration. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Solid understanding of database design, data modeling, and performance optimization. Experience implementing secure, compliant systems (HIPAA or healthcare data standards preferred). Familiarity with ETL pipelines or data analytics tools is a plus. Experience in healthcare technology, remote patient monitoring, or connected devices is strongly preferred. Ideal Candidate Profile A hands-on engineer who can both build and communicate technical solutions effectively. Confident leading technical conversations with partners and internal stakeholders alike. Focused on reliability, maintainability, and security. Thrives in fast-paced, startup environments with high ownership and accountability. What We Offer Compensation: $2,200–$2,500 USD/month base Health insurance Social insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunity to build products that improve the quality of life for seniors across the U.S.
