Job Description Help us take our current cutting-edge solution that connects and controlls our industry-leading instrument portfolio to the next level by continuously enhancing and refining it on an exceptionally high standard. You will not only work with AI-assisted development tools — you will also support their practical adoption within the team and apply your expertise to steadily refine our engineering workflows. You will translate architectural visions into robust, scalable code and are a part of our internal agile Software Development Team. You will deliver clean, maintainable, and high‑performance software in an object‑oriented programming language, code generated or assisted by AI – such as RooCode or Code – and help to integrate AI effectively into our daily workflows. You will design and maintain APIs, protocols and data formats that ensure seamless interoperability across systems. You will collaborate closely with fellow developers, offering support and sharing expertise while helping to shape innovative solutions for integrating internal and external systems. You will explore emerging technologies, build new features and continuously improve the functionality of our devices. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams in an international and dynamic environment – from IT and QA to Marketing and Customer Service. Qualifications You have successfully finished your academic education in Computer Science, Natural Science (e.g. Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics) or similar. You demonstrate strong expertise in service‑oriented software development and experience in software for device integration, connectivity or synchronization. You have handson experience with AI-assisted coding, a strong affinity for applying AI-tools in software development and a clear understanding of both their potential and their current limitations. Ideally, you are proficient in modern C++ or Golane. Your agile mindset enables you to break down requirements and design them into manageable increments and pieces. More over, you are very open to different technologies, keep yourself up to date with new tools and – if necessary – are willing to learn new ones.
