Job Description

  • Work and learn with the best computer scientists, academics, and investment professionals
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java/Kotlin code with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for automation within the development and deployment processes.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and debugging of complex software issues to ensure system stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Financial Engineering, Capital Markets, and Operations to implement new features in the trading application infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences, …) or a comparable qualification.
  • Exposure and/or interest in our tech stack: Kotlin, Java, GraphQL, Docker, Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform.
  • Strong analytical thinking, both in the technical and in the product domain.
  • Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience - engineering, product, or other stakeholders.
  • A passion for well architected, testable and documented code.
  • Experience with domain-driven design and distributed architectures and/or microservices is a plus.
  • Background in financial services is a strong plus.
  • Very good language skills in English. German knowledge is an advantage. Willingness to work in an international English-speaking team.
