Senior QA Automation Engineer Department: Technology Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior (5+ years) Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our technology team and drive quality excellence across our commercial real estate technology platforms. This role will lead automation initiatives, mentor junior team members, and ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability for our global CRE clients. Key Responsibilities Test Automation & Strategy • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test frameworks and test suites • Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms • Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing pipelines • Develop performance, load, and security testing automation strategies • Establish and maintain testing best practices and standards across development teams Quality Assurance Leadership • Lead quality assurance efforts for complex CRE technology solutions • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria • Perform thorough testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior QA engineers • Mentor team members on automation tools, techniques, and methodologies Technical Excellence • Analyze system requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution • Participate in architectural discussions to ensure testability and quality design • Research and evaluate new testing tools and technologies • Contribute to the improvement of development processes and quality metrics Required Qualifications Technical Skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation • Proficiency in automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar • Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C#. • Experience with API functional & performance testing tools (Postman, Newman, Jmeter, REST Assured, etc.) • Experience in Database testing • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Experience with version control systems (Git) Professional Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Leadership and mentoring capabilities • Willingness to learn new tools & technologies. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in commercial real estate or PropTech industry • Knowledge of any AI tools like Gemini, Claude, GPT etc. • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools • ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications • Experience with mobile application testing • Knowledge of accessibility testing standards About JLL Technologies Join our mission to reimagine commercial real estate through technology.
