Responsibilities:

WHAT THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

  • Work on all aspects of PMS automation for electrical, propulsion, ancillary and auxiliary systems, mainly for the T26 PMS project
  • Develop and modify control sequences and configurable software components
  • Participate in the full software lifecycle for T26 PMS
  • Produce and maintain software documentation ensuring full traceability of the software throughout the lifecycle
  • Participate in the full software lifecycle for control systems software adhering to company process and procedure
  • Lead in reviews of software code, documentation, contractual internal/external design reviews
  • Propose changes to process and tools to enhance performance of team
  • Support other team members with clarification of requirements & design decisions

The role requires the following experience and skills:

  • Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Familiarity with software programming
  • Experience Software engineering professional with respect to Control of various systems, Chemical Process, Power Plants.
  • Eagerness to learn and interest in all aspects of automation system development
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent PC skills for documents, spreadsheets and database
