BackgroundThe company sources, processes, and distributes regulated health products across Europe. It's the market leader in its category, growing year-on-year in both revenue and customers, while remaining profitable. Scale and licensing make it difficult for smaller competitors to follow.

Germany plays a critical role in their European supply chain, with most of their product moving through the country at some stage. The company is building a new tech team in Paderborn to take a more strategic position in that supply chain.

What this role isThey're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the build of a brand new warehouse management system to manage stock and orders for the German market. This will replace a legacy system that currently runs on Microsoft Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You'll work in the company's existing stack - Python, TypeScript, React, AWS.

As the first technical hire on the ground in Germany, the team will grow around you. The plan is to bring in one or two mid-level engineers to support you as the build progresses. The company keeps its teams deliberately lean.
