Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer role based in Dublin 16. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and applications, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management, quality assurance, and operations. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, improving existing systems, and contributing to architectural decisions and best practices. The Senior Software Engineer will also mentor other engineers, support continuous integration and deployment processes, and help drive technical standards within the team.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining production systems.
• Solid Programming skills in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, Python )
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and designing modular, maintainable software architectures.
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), APIs, and integration with third-party services.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, propose solutions, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Previous experience in a senior or lead engineering role, including mentoring or coaching other engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
