We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Marketplace team at Better, a leading digital mortgage company. As a Senior Marketplace Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the mortgage and homeownership industry. Together with the stakeholders and the team, you will be maintaining and building brand new features inside the Tinman Pricing Engine and the internal Automated Underwriting System.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in engineering preferred
• 5+ years of full stack experience. Proficient in Golang, Typescript, Python, React / NextJS, developing RESTful APIs and CRUD operations.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and other AWS cloud services preferred
• Previous experience working on highly performant Go services with testability in mind
• Excited to work in a fast paced, high growth startup environment.
