FinBITs CORE is leading the transformation of Microsoft’s Commerce Financial Platform to deliver improved customer experience, AI-powered innovation, and high-performance systems. In this role, you will design and enhance services that simplify invoicing, Tax ID, Tax Exemptions, optimize purchase order management, enable real-time financial insights, and deliver new generation of customer experience for E-commerce Financial platform charter. You’ll work on modern architecture, leverage AI-driven automation, and ensure compliance and resiliency across global commerce systems. Implement modern architecture: Refactor legacy systems into event-driven microservices and config-driven workflows. Deliver the next generation of customer experience based on leading edge AI capabilities Integrate AI capabilities into customer experience and financial operations for predictive insights and automation. Collaborate across domains (Tax, Payments, Invoicing, PO Management) to deliver seamless experiences. Drive best practices in engineering, security, and compliance. Evangelize Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and help define clear domain boundaries. Evolve the Azure infrastructure, keeping it at the forefront of technological advancement Keep the security a top priority Build telemetry and observability into every feature for end-to-end insights. Participate in On-Call and Site Reliability rotations, ensuring live-site health and driving engineered solutions. Continuously experiment with Azure services, ship iteratively, and gather feedback to improve platform performance. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Additional or preferred qualifications Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience building software on Azure. 4+ years of experience with Azure DevOps Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Typescript and JavaScript Experience with observability platforms: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics Exposure to domain-driven design concepts - designing systems around business domains/models Knowledge of saga or workflow orchestration patterns Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
