Description

The Windows Cloud division is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help elevate Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 Cloud PC (W365) to new heights. AVD and W365 were recently recognized as leaders in the inaugural Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Desktop as a Service (DaaS). These services offer organizations a modern, scalable, cloud-based Windows experience. If you're passionate about solving distributed systems challenges and building high-scale infrastructure, this role offers the opportunity to design and implement critical platform features that directly impact the scalability, reliability, and performance of our cloud services. You’ll deepen your expertise in areas such as cloud compute, desktop virtualization, large-scale storage, and microservices architecture. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to build new platform capabilities across virtualized compute, storage, and networking—enhancing the value we deliver globally. Responsibilities

Design and implement critical platform features for Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Cloud PC. Collaborate with a diverse team to enhance platform capabilities across virtualized compute, storage, and networking.
