Azure Batch is seeking Senior Software Engineers of all levels to join our growing Dublin team. Azure Batch powers some of the world’s most robust large-scale compute workloads, enabling organizations to run millions of jobs in parallel. It supports High Performance Computing (HPC) workloads across industries such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), genomics, and climate modeling. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Rust, Java, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated significant technical experience in cloud computing, distributed systems, and/or high-performance computing (HPC) systems.
• Demonstrated significant experience designing, building and deployment global scale distributed systems.
• Demonstrated significant experience maintaining high service reliability and availability for global scale distributed systems.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Rust, Java, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud technology and Microsoft software development tools.
• Experience with Linux, containers, and related cloud-native open source technologies.
• Experience with high-performance computing workloads and/or job schedulers.

• Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario.

• Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
