We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Agent Cloud team—a group focused on delivering modern, high-scale, and inclusive front-end experiences. In this position, you will work across the stack with an emphasis on front-end development. You will contribute to the design and implementation of innovative features that power Agent Cloud, helping shape the future of how users interact with AI-driven tools.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer designing, implementing, and shipping cloud services or software products.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• The ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will require you to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expertise in modern front-end technologies including React, Typescript, and related technologies with a track record of delivering high-performant, accessible, and scalable experiences in production.
  Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

• Design and build innovative, high-quality user experiences that are performant, accessible, and scalable.
• Develop and deliver reliable, secure, and efficient software solutions that enhance the scalability, performance, and maintainability of our services—with a strong focus on rapid iteration and high-quality execution.
• Drive features and projects from ideation through delivery, solving open-ended technical challenges with creativity, urgency, and ownership.
• Collaborate closely with partner teams across Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365, working across time zones and geographies to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Proactively identify system bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and propose and implement enhancements to architecture, processes, and product capabilities.
