Developers rely on many components to build software, including open-source packages, container images and infrastructure-as-code configuration files. Design, develop, test and support features, experiences. Lead and provide technical direction for the design and development of features, experiences, and solutions for end-to-end business scenarios. Support highly available services used by top companies and millions of developers on a daily basis. Troubleshooting of complex issues through the entire tech stack including frontend and database layers. Participate in on-call rotations with your team. Triage and respond to issues and advocate for opportunities to improve service health. Mentor, pair, participate in code reviews, and delegate work to encourage the professional and technical growth of those around you. You've done this before - Extensive software development experience. You can code - Demonstrable experience with C#, C++, Java or any other OOP language. You have good collaboration skills - Excellent analytical skills as well as communication skills both verbal and written. We are a distributed team, so we are extra mindful about communication. You're a professional engineer - you understand that it's not enough to write code that works; it also must be well-designed, easy to test, and easy to add to over time. You want to learn to get things done - Ability to understand unfamiliar code bases, debug client and service side applications (including database stored procedures). You're already experimenting - with the latest LLM-powered tools and excited to explore uncharted territory in developer productivity Solid understanding of testing principles. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks completely and independently and generate clarity in ambiguous situations. Troubleshooting skills across network, application, caching, queuing, load-balancing storage and distributed services layers.
